so the integral from -1 to 3 of (t^3 +2)[(delta(t) + 8delta(t-1)]dt.

now how do I even start this? do I just distribute the (t^3+2) all over and then just integrate it regularly?

this is circuit theory related, not math

Yes, distribute the (t^3+2)...does the problem tell you what teh values of t^3 are? basically the delta will give you values only at where the (t-x) point in time is.
