how to spoof a user agent?

Hey, does anyone know how I would simulate my user agent to be different then what it actually is. Specifically, I'd like to test how the googlebot sees my site. I have IE, Mozilla, and Opera.

I'm pretty damn sure that the googlebot doesn't actually render anything. hit View > Source, and you'll see what google's bot sees.

I am trying to turn off session ids by checking for googlebot's referral id. I found that let me modify my user agent called Genius by Independent Software.
