How to Solve iOS 12 GPS Issues

The latest iOS 12 upgrade provides a wide range of new and enhanced features. This is one of the main reasons why many people have opted to update to the newer version. However, after the recent update to iOS 12, many users have started facing GPS issues like slow GPS lock, no/weak GPS signal, location info error, or even the GPS non-functioning. Since GPS is the most essential tool, without this feature, it has become increasingly difficult for the users. Nevertheless, no need to panic as you will learn solutions to sort out this issue and your device would be back to normal. Let us see how you can do this:

Step 1
Reboot ‘Device’

Most of the iOS errors can be fixed when you restart the device once. Failure to reboot the device over an extended period of time often results in some issues. Hence, just by rebooting, you can solve the GPS issue. However, if you still find that your problem is persisting, go ahead with the next solution.

Step 2
Open ‘Settings’

Close all the related applications. This is one of the ways to fix the problem. You have to turn off the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS connection and again restart the device.

Turn on ‘All Settings’

Once the device has booted, go to 'Settings' and turn on all the settings once again (Wi-Fi, Blue tooth, GPS connection).
