How to: Slipstream SP4 into a W2K CD?

I searched on "Slipstream" and only found something about Promise drivers and WinXP.

What I want to do is simple...or not, since I've no idea how to do it.

I want to make a W2K SP4 CD. So, when I install W2K, it's already patched to SP4.

While we're at it...can I also slipstream all the latest hotfixes and such in there? 😕

I'd be happy w/just SP4, though. Thanks!

not to be a sh!thead but I thought I head somewhere that there was something abotu SP4 that couldn't slipstreamed, I thought it was from MS that I heard that, can anyone confirm/deny this?

although it seems weird they would do such a thing...

I made two backups with SP4 recently, although I haven't had the opportunity to reinstall my Win2K rig.

I have a plain windows 2000 cd do i need to download sp1 sp2 sp3 sp4 in order to slipstream my windows or do i just need sp4 to patch the whole windows up.

Each sucessive service pack includes the patches of the previous ones ...you just need to download the most recent one that you want to use.

McVeigh - I can confirm that you can slipstream SP4. I've done it, and even deployed it via RIS to a bunch of new machines on our network.
