How to Skin Icons in WinXP?

I'm using software called ArtIcons Pro, and I've been able to change icons like 'my computer', 'my documents', etc. I can't seem to figure out how to skin icons like those for 'winamp', 'adobe acrobat', 'macromedia dreamweaver'.

I have the icons, just don't know how to use them.

Right click on the shortcut's Icon -> Properties, click "Change Icon"
