How to shrink a hat?

I got a wool fitted baseball hat, and i would like to shrink it just a tad. I dont want to shrink it to the next size lower as that is a bit too tight, but somewhere in between. 7 3/8 is a bit too large, and 7 1/4 is a bit too small. Any ideas?

Funny, I just ordered a wool, fitted cap too. The one I got was too small, so I ordered the next size up.

This process takes time.
I got a hat that was perfect fitting new, but as I sweated and used over a summer it became WAY too small.

Just wear it around and it will happen naturally.
