How to show the Windows 10 Upgrade Notification Icon

As of last week, even if you have the following Windows updates, you may not see the Windows 10 Upgrade Icon in the taskbar:

For Windows 7:
KB3035583
KB2952664


For Windows 8.1:
KB3035583
KB2976978

Long story short,

Download this file and run it as administrator then follow the instructions. Using the quick method, I immediately saw the upgrade notification icon:

I had to do this to reserve for my new build since I have a 980 Ti and it was considered incompatible at the time. Works perfectly.
