How can I disable the Windows logo with the green thingy moving from left to right, during bootup so that I can see what is loading as it's booting?

Windows XP Pro.

1.Start > Run > msconfig
2.Click on the BOOT.INI tab
3.Check the "/SOS" box

I am pretty sure that does the trick. Go for it! 🙂
 
Intresting, never knew you can do that I will have to give it a shot 😉.

Oh no, no windows on all the machines at home (5) , I guess that is a good thing 🙂
