How to show FPS in UT2003?

As above. How do you even get to the console? The "~" key just switches to the pulse hammer, or whatever it's called.

type "stats fps" or "fps stats" (I don't remember which one, but its one of those two

As far as getting to the console, ~ = Console for me. You can look in the control settings and see if you can change it. Tab also might work as the console, but I've alwayed used ~

Um, that's not working. You are not the man. Anyone else have a clue how to do this? I tired stats fps. fps stats. fps. stats. show fps. Nada.

It's actually stat fps 1 to turn on FPS counter and stat fps 0 to turn off FPS counter.
