How to ship a computer and monitor?

I have relocated cities and I need a way to get my computer here. I figure I can buy a bed, desk and dresser here in my new city, but my computer is irreplaceable. I have a 23inch flat screen monitor, an Acer P235H, and a standard computer case with all the parts inside, obviously.

I figure to shop the computer itself, I should stuff it with something to keep all the cards and everything seated property, or maybe pull them out and ship them separate. The monitor is tougher. I think I threw away the original packaging. Not sure what to do. Anyone have experience?

I'd probably remove the cards and heatsink and box them separately, to be safe.

As for the monitor... use lots of bubble wrap? Maybe use a thick piece of cardboard or something in front of the panel to minimize possibility of damage to the screen.
