We have two computers and one laser printer in a small business where one pc is used to surf the internet and the other is to run the business-- land locked for security. We use a KVM for sharing the monitor, keyboard and mouse but we'd like to share the printer as well but without networking as that may open the business pc to remote attack.

Simplest method is something like this.

What model of printer is it? There are several USB and LPT switches available. If your printer is an HP it may support what is called simple sharing. If it has a LPT and a USB port one computer can use each port. Only CERTAIN HP models support simple sharing.

I'll have to check which brand, but it's a relatively new laser printer.
