I have a dlink 321 nas that plugged into a switch and router. I would like to let my brothers and sisters pull movies and music off of there. Could anyone provide a lead on how to do that, thanks
Just have them access it the same way you are. \\nas-ip\ etc... May need to give them read access depending on your environment. (domain, workgroup etc)
Easier for the uninitiated family members would be to map a drive for them on their system to the folder containing the media, but as Red already mentioned you have to give them read rights too on the NAS if it enforces such things.
