How to share an ADSL Internet connection with Windows 2003?

I use the PC with Windows 2003 as a domain controller and file server. Now, I want to make it share the Internet connection. I've done it before with cable Internet without a problem, but this wicked DSL (never liked it), I just can't configure it correctly.
I use Winpoet to connect to the net and I can connect correctly. I use a ADSL modem (not router) which goes connected to an ethernet adapter.

Using a router is not an option, since I'm not using it to have better control of what people do with Internet at my company.

So how do you share a ADSL connection? Also, my IPs are static.

In short, slap in a second NIC and enable ICS, unless you are running Windows 2003 small business server

win2k3 in ICS won't allow better control, it may even be worse.

Unless you are installing some 3rd party software, or ISA server.

I wouldn't setup this machine to route, as it's a big risk. If this box gets owned (and if it's the edge/unh/w firewalled box, it stands a good chance eventually) then you lose your domain controller, and files.

Using Win2k3 on domain controller at my company. We have 2 DSL services running (for load balancing) through the 1 wired router for wired connections and 1 wireless AP for wireless. Why not just go with a router? I am systems admin and can control users just fine through router settings and policies. What exactly are you trying to control?

I don't understand why a router isn't an option? You REALLY don't want to have your DC as the edge router as well. If you let us know a little bit more about what you are trying to do as far as controlling access, we can give you a better idea of what you want to do.

I do agree with these guys though, just get a router.
