How to setup front wide speakers, dipoles and more

Do front wides get much sound or are they more effects? I might play around with them. The room is so huge I'm not getting much output from the DefTech BP2000s. I did run dual LFE output to the powered 15s in them but I got a HUGE bass hole at the listening position...it's gotta be 20+ db, it's non existent there. Will be interesting to see what Audessey XT32 comes up with.

BP2000 question - subs pointing in or out? Meaning woofers on the inside, or outside.

I do out on mine. Placement will take a while. Front wide are more effect.
