How to setup 3 monitors in win2k?

My friend just purchased an ati radeon ve (agp) (dual 15 pin connectors), and wants to use it in conjunction with an older trident 8mb (pci) card to run a 3 monitor configuration. I've seen others with 3 monitor setups, but all that I've seen were using 3 separate vid cards. Any ideas or suggestions/experiences on how to get this setup to work? Also, his monitors are mainly IBM types. I would really appreciate your feedback on this! Thanks!

Problem fixed! Apparently, the trident PCI card was the problem. We replaced it with an S3 PCI card, and it works like a champ now! The VE splits the display in half between two monitors, and the third monitor displays as a "secondary" monitor.
