Awhile back I purchased a netgear MP101 (wireless audio player) for my bedroom. The problem I am having is that wired the unit works just fine but wireless it doesn't function at all. What I want to do is run another wireless access point, router, hub, switch whatever it takes, to my bedroom and have it connect to my current wireless setup. I then want to plug in my audio player with a standard cord. I'm thinking with an access point this should be possible but I have never done anything like this. I know that I could run a wire from the office to my bedroom but my attic is like hell on earth and I don't want to deal with that. Any information or tips you could share is appreciated! Oh, the distance from my office to the spot I want to put this is maybe 15 feet so I don't think distance will be any problem. There is only a bathroom in the way.
