I noticed in the old version that "Stickies" were only sticky in the Sort By Last Reply mode. So Sort by Topic Date never showed any of the stickies. I always though that was great, but if you are trying to get people to view the Paid Advertising, which is all stickied, it is not so great.

Like I said, wild speculation, but maybe they are waiting to fix the no-sticky issue in the Sort By Topic Date. More likely Jason was being obscure but accurate when he mentioned the multilingual-update-incompatibility issue-thing.
