How to set up my laptop to connect to 2 wireless networks

I have a wireless network at home using WEP(stupid tivo's don't do WPA). I also have a wireless network at my moms which I can set up to use whatever secuirty, or even filter by MAC address, since my laptop is the only wireless client that uses her network. I want to disable her SSID broadcast, because she is paranoid someone will get access to her computer. But I want to be able to have my laptop use my network(SSID is broadcasting) at home and then automatically connect to hers when I am here. Is this possible with her SSID disabled? If so, how do I do it?

Use the client utility that goes with your wireless card. Setup the two different profiles with the appropiate SSID and security and you're all set.

Don't know about windows zero config as I think it doesn't like to connect to networks without SSID broadcast. It's normally recommend to NOT disable SSID broadcast as it can cause compatibility problems and isn't by any means a security feature.

Its not really a security feature, but if your network isn't broadcasting itself, then its at least gonna take more then your average computer user to gain access to it, since they won't even know it is there. But I also think I will set it up to only allow my MAC address.

Yeah I am using WPA, not sure if its WPA2 or not though.

But setting it up to only allow my MAC address is probably even ebtter, right?
