How to set up a network printer?

I just bought a Brother 2070N printer, with the built in networking. Is it possible to connect the printer directly to my router, which all my other printers are connected to, and use the printer that way? If so, how do I get my computers to find the printer on the network?

Give the printer an IP from your Router

Add New Printer

Next

Choose "Local Printer Attached to this computer" and uncheck the "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer"

Next

Create a new port -> Standard TCP/IP port

Next

Enter the IP of the printer

Next

If it prompts you for the network card Generic usually works

Install the drivers and you are done.

This will give you direct IP printing, and there are other ways to set it up as well but this works pretty well.
