So a user from work upgraded and they gave me his old laptop for super cheap.

So I have 2 lenovo t61p 8gb ram same exact machine I can switch drives and everything works perfectly.

1st - 320gb 7200rpm, running win7x64 host, VMware workstatiion with 8 different vms, some work, dev, testing, some running 32bit OS for testing apps. Need vmware for usb passthrough.

2nd - 160gb, running server 2k8 as they said I need to upgrade my certs. I have 2k8 with hyper-v installed configured everything to run smoothly including the wifi/RRAS through my VMs.

BTW you can't run vmware + hyperv so that's why I need to run two different Host OS.

Got a hybrid ssd Seagate 500gb. Using clonezilla to clone the first 320 gb drive. How do I set up the 2nd 160gb? Clone the 160gb to the free space on the seagate and edit boot.ini file? Is this even an option in 2k8?

Neither Win2k8 or Win7 use NTLDR anymore, you need to use bcdedit or a 3rd party tool to edit the boot menu now.
