How to set new burner to default???

I just purchased a second burner for my computer. How do I set the new burner to default so I can record to it intead of my first burner which will be used as a reader for now? Thanks.

set the jumper to "master" on your new burner, and "slave" to your old on. (if they share same IDE channel)

if you have more than 1 cdrw in your system then the burning software should give you the option on which one you want to choose to do the burning.

I did set it to "master" the first time. When I use Roxio EasyCD Creator's cdcopier program it won't let me select my new burner as an option to "record" to but allowed to select it as a "source" only. I'm using the Pacific Digital CD-RW 24x10x40. The program that comes with this burner will allow me to use it to record however. Isn't the Roxio program compatible with the PD CD-RW?

if you have a fairly retail version of ezcd creator, suggest you try checking at roxio.com for an update patch which would make the software recognise your new burner!
