i was told with my system i should run my memor 5:4, but i dont know how to do this. i figure this is some sort of memory overclocking, therfore done in bios, but im not sure.

system:
400W raidmax PSU
GeForce4 Ti4600 PNY
3.0 E CPU
NB60N shuttle Mobo
1 GB (2 x 512) CAS 2 PC3200
DVD RW
DVD-ROM
80 and 160 GB WD HD
audigy
stock HSF

Also, my mobo has 4 DDR slots, is there any certian configuration to set this to dual channel? or will any 2 slots work. And, is this good enough currently to oc?

thanks

Only if your overclocking if your running the memory at 200Mhz then leave it 1:1. Otherwise I think they meant 4:5 ratio CPU:Memory 5:4 if your board says them as memory:cpu. Then if you ran your cpu fsb at 250 Mhz the memory would still be running at 200Mhz.

Not always. In a lot of cases you can get better performance by using a 5:4 or 3:2 ratio and scaling your processor even higher. However if you don't plan to go over 1Ghz on the FSB you should probably buy some PC4000 memory and run 1:1.
