I have an IBM SCSI hard drive that I have to ship, but I don't know how to package it safely. Where can I get the stuff that are used to protect the hard drive?
thank you

If you don't have the original packaging, you can cut some styrofoam blocks from other packaging that you may have lying around and use those to suspend the drive inside a larger box. Maybe some nice forum members will send you an empty HD that you can use if you pay for shipping.

my guess is they won't send you the drives first? I have always given them a credit card number, they send me the new drives and I send the bad ones back in that packaging, and I always shipped them from work so I didn't have to pay for shipping!

make sure you put it in a static bag too, sound elementary but some people, they forget and then they get a bill... and that sucks!
