How to send messages over LAN with win2k?

Does Win2kPro come with a utility to send a message to another win2k machine on a LAN? Sort of like "instant messages" over the internet?

Yes.. it is called net send

go to a command prompt and type net send /? this will give you the syntax

puck, there are free 3rd party graphical apps that can do that LAN messaging thing. Try searching the downloads at CNET.COM
