How to save on shipping at newegg.com?

for most online vendors, I would save on shipping if I buy multiple items... but it's not the case at newegg.com. For example if I buy 3 items that each has $6 FedEx shipping, total shipping would be $18... from store like buy.com, total shipping would be like $8...

Does anyone know how to save shipping cost at newegg.com?

Shipping at Newegg doesn't top off until ~$30 in shipping charges.

EDIT: what I ment is that I just bought some stuff from them and the shipping charge for each item was added to the total without any discount until the total reached ~$30. After that, it only cost ~$1 to add each additional item. The number of items doesn't matter, it depends on the total shipping charges. I did NOT mean to say that the max shipping charge is $30.

I orderd over 1,000 in parts last week for someone, including a FAT antec case, and shipping came out to 56 bucks.

It doesn't top off at $30 but that is around the place where they start discounting it a bit instead of just totaling up the listed per item shipping cost.

But, yea, why are we discussing this here?

if you order enough parts it will go down has they package them together. 4 items might be the magic number.
