How to save mp3 & playlist from ipod touch 3g to the mac

the title say everything. i've upgraded the mbp disk with a ssd but my touch is still synchronized with the original hdd. now i need to add some mp3, and most important want to upgrade with ios 4. i use snow leopard 10.6.4^_^
