How to save id3 tags on encoded mp3's

i'm using this dos LAME mp3 encoder, but when i re-encode my existing mp3's the id tag is lost, is there an extra command i can add to ensure that the tags are rewritten? or will i have to manually type them in myself?

Give RazorLAME a try - it seems to work for me by embedding the ID3 into the file. You can incorporate all your LAME settings and use a nice Windows GUI.

nope, apparently not when endoding mp3->mp3

its not the fault of razor though, just a shorcoming of LAME itself.
