How to save firefox bookmarks before a reformat?

You export them into a .html file and move them off of the HD you are formatting. You then import them after you re-install firefox.

Assuming your running Windows NT 5.0 or better, you can go to C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and save/backup the folder in there. Then restore it after your reinstall. All your history, cookies, bookmarks, form history, and passwords will be available again.

Isn't it just the Bookmarks.html file stored in your user profile? :confused:
