... on the Net? There is no "Software" section so I post it here. I hope not to be smoked for it...

I want to find some samples of Flash. I found a few but how do you save them on your HD and later take a look at them to learn by example. I'm not looking to steal artwork or other things. I just want to learn diff. techniques.

It's possible to same HTML code but how to save a Flash file?

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

There is a Software forum--- Right Here --- As for saving a Flash animation, I don't think it's possible. Do a Google Search for Flash. When I get to my home computer, I can send you some links that are very helpful if you are learning Flash (I'm at work, and don't have the URL here.)

View the source of the webpage it's on. Search for .swf. If you can find the URL for the file used, you can then use a download manager to save it directly. You might also find a copy of it in your cache (Temporary Internet Files). In order to play current Flash files though you'll have to create a basic webpage saved locally with the SWF file embedded. For some reason they stopped creating the file association with the Flash player on the local machine during installation.

I got the file from viewing the HTML code (swf that is); I have playing in my browser but the "save as" and "save" options are grayed out and inactive. How can i do this? Is there another way around it???
