How to run a Timedemo in the UT2004 demo?

I don't have the full game, just the demo, and I just want to see what kind of framerates I could expect in real-life if I were to buy the game. How do I do this? Do I need to download a demo file?

It's a laptop: Celeron M 1.3, 512mb or fam, and a radeon 9000 mobility, and it seems to play just fine in the only deathmatch map that comes with the demo, with 8 players, but I don't know if the rest of the maps are slower.
