how to rice up your car?

there is a difference between "rice" and performance. Rice = all show and no go. Usually the "show" is so damn over done the car is fugly. Asking how to rice a car on AT is asking for flames. Expecialy when a member has been around long enough to know this.

if you want to tastefully mod your car with performance mods (and maybe some appearance ones) just make sure you do it right, know what to look for, and don't use the word "rice" in your title... it'll just bring in a lot of flamers...

the problem is on these forums, it's not go unless it's a car running 11s or 12s on street tires, but if that car has 3 stickers, automatically it's called rice... fugly is also a matter of taste... there are kits, when painted properly, put on properly, and done properly that look nice, but people here would point, say look! it's a kit! and look! it's a sticker (sponsored by, meaning they actually don't pay for a lot of the stuff)! and then start laughing to themselves ignorantly, cry rice, and go back and drive their mommybox grocery getter home.
