how to reverse data in Excel

I have a bunch of data listed by dates with data listed below the dates
column A1 has 01/06, A2 02/06, etc etc

01/06, 02/06, 03/06, 04/06 etc etc
random numbered data are under each column.

I want to reverse the order and start with 04/06, on column A1 and go all the way to column 01/06.

anyone know how?

nevermind...i read it wrong.

You could probably copy them to another sheet and transpose them in the process. Sort them in descending order and then copying them back over and transposing again.

In Excel 2003 at least,

Data -> Sort, Options, Sort left to right. You can now sort based on a row instead of a column.

Yep that's how I would do it. Also can we have this thread moved to "Software for Windows"

Im on excel 2000, and it doesn't have a sort for 'left to right.'' only ascendng/desecending...

any other easy ways?

Are you sure? Seems like horizontal sort as an option has been around for quite a while.

If not, then how about doing a copy/paste special with transpose checked. This'll put the the horizontal dates into a vertical column you can sort. Then just copy/paste special transpose them back.
