As i see it, when i hit Hibernate, stuff from the RAM is written to the hard disk, and the PC shuts off. Now when i power it on again, it takes that data and puts it in the RAM, deletes it from the disk and continues where you left off, right?
Now lets say there's a power cut(happens a lot here, and my UPS has gone for repair) the PC shuts down. Is there a way that when i power on my PC again, it resumes by using restoration data from the hibernation process it had saved earlier? Is there a way to make my PC keep that data even after it has finished resuming and use it the next time i boot my PC. Of course it should give me an option whether to use that data or boot from the scratch.
Sorry for the weird question.
