How to Restrict Explicit Language in the Dictionary in Mac OS X

Restricting the use of explicit language in the dictionary is one of the highlight features in the Mac OS X system. The users can limit the access to the inappropriate content in the sources like the dictionary, thesaurus as well as Wikipedia. You can find this option in the parental controls in the system preferences option. Here is you can restrict explicit language in the dictionary.

Step 1
Select ‘System Preferences’

Firstly, you should click the apple icon that is present at the top left corner of your mac screen as shown below. From the list of options, you need to choose ‘System Preferences’ option to view the system settings.

Select ‘Parental Controls’

In the 'System Preferences' window, you will find many system related setting options. You need to choose the ‘Parental Controls’ option to view the control settings related to the system.

In the parental controls window, you need to press the ‘Lock’ to get access to modify the parental control settings.
