How to "restore" XP to original?

Folks, I've got a situation where I need to return an OEM rig (an H-P 7900 series computer) with WinXP home edition pre-installed, back to it's original pre-installed configuration without the aid of any restore/recovery disks. Is there a way to get it back to square one and remove whatever the previous short-term owner added and still keep all of the OEM stuff? 😕
