How to restore clothes colors?

I have a few shirts (polos) that are lacking their original luster. I have seen the Woolite stuff that is made for your dark clothes, to keep them dark... but will the stuff work to restore the darkness?

Can I just add some dye in with the wash? Is there and anti-bleach?

Any help? I am a single 21 year old guy... I know nothing. I guess I could call up mommy...
