The user might want to restart their system due to various reasons. Whenever you install a new application or software, it is often recommended to restart your system in order for the change get reflected when you launch the software. Sometimes, when you want to end the processing task or after performing an antivirus scan, you will be asked to restart your system. It is important to save your files and settings before you restart your system. Here is how you can restart your Windows 10 system easily.
Step 1
Click ‘Start Windows’ Icon
Press the ‘Windows’ button on your keyboard to access the start menu options. You can also click the ‘Start Windows’ icon located at the corner of the taskbar.

Step 2
Click ‘Power’ Option
On accessing the 'Start' menu, you will notice the frequently accessed and critical applications. It is advised to close and save all the applications before you restart your systems. After saving the required files, click the ‘Power’ option as shown in the below image.

Step 3
Click ‘Restart’ Option
After clicking the power option, you will find three options namely sleep, shut down and restart. Click the ‘Restart’ option to completely 'Restart' your Windows 10 system. You will find dialog prompt asking you to save your file if it is not saved.

Step 4
System Gets Restarted
You might have to wait for some minutes for your system to get restarted. After the successful restart, the system will ask for your user account credentials if you had assigned one.
