How to Resolve Issues with the Touch ID in iOS 11

Touch ID can grant safety to iPhone or iPad and also assists in easy in-App Store or iTunes Store purchases. This feature is available in iPhone 5s and above as well as in iPads(iPad mini, Air 2 and Pro).

Although this is an amazing feature in smartphones, yet users are encountering difficulties after they have updated the version to iOS 11. Hence, more and more people are looking for ways to resolve this issue. Here, in this guide, we will show you how to resolve issues with the Touch ID in iOS 11.

Step 1
Open ‘Settings’

Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Touch ID’ and ‘Passcode’. Then enter the passcode on your mobile or iPad device. Disable the iTunes and App Store. Now reboot the device again go back to the ‘Settings’ > ‘Touch ID’ & ‘Passcode’ and enable the iTunes and App store. Tap on to 'Fingerprint' to add another.

Step 2
Remove ‘Fingerprints’

Now you need to remove and re-add the fingerprints. In order to do this, go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Touch ID’ and ‘Passcode’. Then enter the passcode in your mobile or iPad device. If you have set fingerprints, scroll down to look for the fingerprint option and tap on the fingerprint which you no longer require and tap ‘Delete’ to remove the chosen option.

Step 3
Restart ‘Device’

You can now 'Force Restart' the device.
