How to resize the screen on TV-OUT?

I have a GF2 MX card. (AOpen PA256 MXII) with TV-OUT.
Now when I connect it with a TV, I get a decent output escept the desktop doens't fill the TV screen. There is blank space on the left and right side of the screen.
I looked up the setting, but there is no option that will let me adjust the size of the desktop, and unlike a monitor, TV has no option to resize the output.
I can, move the desktop up/down/left and right. I just don't seem to be able to resize it.
Is there a solution to this problem?

It's a limitation of the nvidia drivers. The only way to fix it is to install a third party shareware program called TvTool.
I'm hoping nvidia will get off their arses and include this functionality in their drivers, if it's possible. Granted, there's many kinds of TvOut chips out there, so they can't cater to them all.
