how to resize partitions in Win2K Server ? PartitionMagic does not work

Got a win2k server install on a 20 gig laptop hard drive. I need to resize, create and delete a few odd ball partitions on there. Win2kServer is the only system with no floopy drive.

Partition Magic will not install on a server edition version of Windows 2000

I was told Veritias Volume MAnager would work, but I dont have access to that software

any ideas?

yep, partition magic wont work on server OS's, you need server magic for that.... its alittle more pricey too ;-)

if you have a Win2K machine lying around, install PM 7 or + on it, swap in the server HDD as a slave, and resize from there.

U cant convert to dynamic partitions on a laptop... win2k wont let you do it on a partable device.

U can try booting it up on another system or booting off of floppy, but partition magic will probably detect that its a server OS partition and say "NO"
