sak

Senior member
Hey i would like to know how to reset a user password on the next login in windows xp.

i know there is a adhoc way of doing this by setting the maximum password keep thingi to 1 day or something but i dont want to change all the user passwords. just one use.

TIA

Never mind...i think i found the darn thing myself.

for those who want to know just do to the local user and group by right click on my computer ---> manage ---> go the local users and groups drop down list. Goto the user tab.. click on the user that u want the password to change/reset next time then double click to get properties...there u have options of User Must change Password at next logon.

I know the instrusctions are a little bad...but hey thats the best i can do...
