How to replace or tighten Chevy Blazer Mirror... (Fixed)

I've got a 1996 chevy blazer, and the drivers side mirror is loose... not the mirror itself, but where it attaches to the door... I'm afraid it's going to fall off...

how can I take the mirror off without breaking it? Also, what holds the mirror, just some plastic clips? If that's all it is and I can get new clips, then it'd be great... if not, then I suppose I'd have to get a whole new mirror... but it's pointless to do that considering everything on the mirror works...

thanks for the help

well... it all snaps together on the interior and I figured there were probably clips and what not.. I'll look at it..

Well if you're wondering, my dad and I took off the door panel (lots of work) and proceeded to find out that 2 connectors were busted (and that either we had to get a new mirror or fix it)

sooo, my dad being the inventive type, put a screw through it... sure, it's on the outside and it's noticible, but seeing a screw is a lot better than paying $141.87 for a mirror (and trying to go through the hassle of getting another one at a salvage yard...

🙂
