Does anyone know how to repair a corrupted divx file? Windows Media Player just refuses to play it, even with the right codecs installed. I am pretty sure most of the file is OK.
If the file doesn't play, you can try stripping and rebuilding the index. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. You can find links to free DivX software at DivX Digest.
open it in virtual dub, set both video and audio to direct stream copy and resave it if that doesn't work got o digital-digest.com and look for a divx fixer.
