How to remove "Trojan.Linkoptimizer"

Norton keeps coming up that I have a trojan.linkoptimizer installed. I have tried to scan and quartine with no luck.

Hijackthis causes an error when I attempt to remove it.

O20 - AppInit_DLLs: \\?\C:\WINDOWS\System32\lpt1.ycg

Any insight?
 
First, did you try to run the scan or removal tool in SAFE MODE ? ?
If not it will not work .. also clear out all your temp files and Disable
System Restore before you attempt removal of any virus or trojan
