how to remove the "print sucessful" dialog in nt4/w2k lan?

i got a lan with an nt4 server which has several printers connected. all desktops were using win95, last month i upgraded to new systems and,
of course, a new operating system =) (win2k sp1) everything works fine... except one little annoying thing. every time a client sends a print job to the
server, the server will respond with a "print job xxx at \\server\printer sucessful" - dialog. this is not a REAL problem, but the users in
my lan are printing A LOT (3 clients, ~ 2000 pages per day). anyone knows if and how i can remove this dialog.

tnx

thanks for the link... but hmmmm

Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000
Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
From the File menu, click Server Properties.
On the Advance tab, click "Notify when Remote Documents are Printed" so
that it is not selected.
Stop and restart the Spooler service from the Services portion of
Control Panel so the new setting will take effect. In Windows 2000, start and restart the Spooler service from the Services snap-in under Administrative Tools. ---
wtf... this checkbox isn't present in the dialog window/advanced tab..
huh?

do you mean it does not have a check in it or it is greyed-out, or not even there?
i just went thru the steps and turned it on then back off.
worked for me

perhaps if the check is NOT in the box, check it, restart the service, go back , un-check it, then restart the service again
perhaps IT thinks it's checked
i have seen stranger things work
