How to remove the I/O shield on the antec sonata?

Need to put in the MSI k8n neo platinum i/o shield. If anyone could tell me how to remove the antec sonata shield and the procedure for putting in the k8n shield it would be much appreciated. Sonata documentation tells me that if the shield is wrong then contact mobo manufacturer but doesnt tell me how to replace 🙁. Bastards. Thanks guys.

It's press-fit with springy edges, like the one shown in these photos:

To remove it, just push it out of the rectangular hole from the outside of the case inwards.

I don't recall any case manufacturer's documentation telling you how to remove the plate/panel. Granted, Antec makes a seriously TIGHT fit on theirs (which makes it more difficult to push out). I usually use either my hands, or a tool to push it in/out. Just line up the replacement and push it into place...

"push in, push out, until it's all goooooood"
