Hovering over it always shows; "Diskeeper can keep your harddrive running at peak performance. Click the Diskeeper Icon to learn more."

Basically, it seems to be acting as if its never been used, even though it has. How can i get the icon out of the tray?

I figured this was the best place to ask since the software came with Vista... (or maybe was it just Lenovo that includes it? dunno)

Didn't come with my Vista, but I've used it in the past. Why not go to Control panel - security center - windows defender - tools - software explorer, than disable it from startup there?

i have windows defender turned off, is there a way to modify the startup items without windows defender?
