The car I just bought has these, they're getting pretty annoying, I think they create more trouble than they're worth. Anyway, how do you remove them without damaging the side mirrors? Should I heat them up somehow and use dental floss in a sawing motion to ease them off? I don't want to just rip them off, don't think that'll end well.

Any experiences with removing these?

Thanks

razor blade

or dental floss sawing will work fine.

Once removed use a liberal amount of Goo Gone and a razor blade to remove the sticky residue

wal-mart or any auto store should have them adhesive remover in the automotive department. spray it on, leave it and then take the mirrors off.

My truck has these and I love 'em. I accidentally pulled the passenger side one off and it left no residue. I was just fiddling with it, picking at it with my fingernail and it fell off. It stuck right back on.
