I have two drives, both 80gigs. (C: and D:).

I have some programs on the D: drive that I would like to remove. However, when I head on over to control panel it only shows the programs on the C: drive. Is there a way for the programs on the D: to show up on control panel or at least gain access to them? Operating system on the C: is win98, and on the D: win2k. gonna replace the win98 on the c drive with win2k soon, and just want to use the D: as storage or backup.

Apparently you never installed those programs so they are not registered. There are some self-contained programs that work fine that way. Removing them is simply a matter of deleting them.

If you want them to be registered in Windows, you can reinstall them over themselves on D, and then they will show up in Add/Remove Programs.

Ooops! Sorry - I didn't notice you had a separate OS on D. OK - that changes my answer - you have to run W2K from D and then you can remove those programs in ITS control panel. That is probably where they are registered.

Thanks for the reply :)

Was just hoping that there was another way to remove them other than going into the other OS. Well, guess not :(

Sure, you can remove them as I stated - but then the registry of the other OS would be screwed up.
