I've got a TAG watch thats a little too big, is there anyway for me to easily remove a couple links or do I need a special tool?

an expensive watch like Tag's usually require a special tool to remove the links...I have removed links from my skagen before.

why not just take it to an authorized dealer? often times, they will do it for free...if not, then a small charge.

Just go to a watch dealer. Like FreshPrince said, it'll either be free or a small fee. I did mine at Tourneau and they charged about $5, just a heads up if you go there.

usually there are some links with pins that knock out. they are held in by a bulge on one end of the pin. if you have something small enough to push one out then its easy, sometimes theres an arrow indicating direction to pop out.

that or look on ebay for watch tools

If its a metal watch there are special tools that make it easy. Its not impossible to do without them but its tricky. You need something to hold it steady. Find the pins and make sure they are going the right way. Take a small pin like object and hammer it in...they are like springs.

If you break your watch don't yell at me. I work at my moms jewelry store and do it all the time...its easy with the tools.

Go to a jewelry store and pay them $10 to do it. It's a ripoff but it's almost impossible to do it otherwise (unless you have the fancy tool).
